Viciously handsome since 1979

About Me

of nightmare
The velvety cocoon, the slick and the sinister
Drives the nails of rusty temptation with the sledge of tactile joy
Darkness never held such brilliance as before
Nor will again, I fear
With the body wrought, with passion born
With coolness touched, with anger slain
Love's lost battles wage their nightly campaign
And daily sing their endless pain
As inevitable as the rising tide
The ocean of winter's cruelty drives me to my knees
The angels left me dying, while the devil on my shoulder laughed until he cried
'Now you know the truth,' he whispered
'No you see beneath the veil, revealed,
But your knowledge cannot save you,
Only with Love will you be healed.'
To the inner door I stumbled
In the darkness of my room the thunder hammered down its curse
I threw the door creaking like the entrance to a tomb
Knowing even now no ghost but one could sing this nightly verse
But this specter lives inside me, already haunts this crypt
When the ocean of winter's cruelty washes over me
And its icy teeth tear my flesh as easily as my soul
I will still refuse to cry
For when I flung the chamber open
Not a specter stood to grin, nor devil sold despair
The tormenter in the dark was neither
Instead, it was me there.

.. You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow. Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

Let's try this one more time, shall we?

Okay, well, twice yesterday, I started a blog extolling my own cleverness, and detailing my theory of Taco Bell as the apotheosis of optimism. I say this because, no matter how bad the food is, and ho...
