Edie's last film with Warhol was called "lupe".
Lou Reed who appeared with Velvet Underground (around 1965) wrote a song about Edie which was requested by Warhol was named "femme Fatale"
Edie and Andy argued mostly about money. she always paid for the expensive dinners but argued that andy never paid her for the films shes done.
when Edie wasnt with Bob Neuwirth she turned to pills as a companian.
Edie was rumored to be an inspiration of the song "Leopard Skin Pill Box Hat" and "Just like a Women" whom Bob Dylan wrote.
She also was another film about Warhol called "The Andy Warhol Story" was it was said to be lost or destroyed.
Edie was raised: 3,000 acre rancho in Ynez Valley (was bought by the inheritance Edie's father had)
Edie had suffered anorexia at a young age and it continued through her adult life.
Her both brothers Bobby and Minty were institutionalized and soon died.

Minty committed suicide at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Connecticut-1964.
Bobby crashed his motorcycle on New's Years Eve and past away two weeks later the same year.
Edie also was instituitionalized at Silver Hill Hospital and was a patient for two years.
she was transferred to a much strictor facility in Bloomingdale, New York Hospital's Westchester County facility.
Had become pregnant and had an abortion on a furlough from Bloomingdale.
She attended at Radcliffe College in Cambride,Massachusetts.

1969 she joined a motorcycle gang just to get herion.
she was known as "promiscous" because she would sleep with anyone to get drugs.
was supervised by two nurses when filming scenes in Ciao Manhatten.
in 1970 went to a clinic suffering delirium tremens.
From July till October she stayed clean but soon went back in October.
Death ascribed as "Acute Barbiturate Intoxication".
she was drunk the night before she died and had also taken pain sleeping pills but eventually her body couldnt take it anymore.
