I grew up in New Hampshire as the only daughter of extremely environmentally conscious parents….and have carried their values with me throughout my life. I’ve been creating art since I can remember and had a solo art show before I graduated from high school. I like to teach myself new skills, but get frustrated when I don’t pick it up immediately. I played soccer in high school and every other sport before that. I went to college at Syracuse University in New York and graduated with a bachelors in Interior Design. I now live in Boston with my amazing boyfriend, Zak, who's a musician, and our two little kitties, Klimt and Monk. I love to cook but love to eat more. I may be skinny but I can eat! I’m probably the least picky eater you know. I don’t think much of Hollywood gossip. I think Paris Hilton is exactly like a lot of stupid, rich, slutty girls I’ve met and can’t believe she thrives on it. Do something productive! I love to travel and would be the happiest women in the world if I could see all the amazing places in the world and paint what I see there. I’ve been to 45 of the 50 states. I lived and studied art in Florence, Italy for a summer….best time of my life. I love the Red Sox and I love the Sox loyalty even more. I think that loyalty is extremely important in people. I hate when people accuse me of lying and I really hate people who butt themselves into my life to cause drama. No drama please!! I have a lot of friends but only keep a select few close to my heart. I love road trips and thunder storms after a really hot day. I love to camp and hike as well as shop and get my nails done. (who doesn’t like foot massages?) I love to go out with my friends and have a good time but I also love to chill at my apartment with some wine and my paints. I love the beach and can’t imagine living too far away from the ocean. I’m a seafood snob. (I blame growing up too accessible to amazing seafood). My favorite season is summer. I like early fall but it reminds me that it’s going to get cold soon and I hate the cold. I don’t think I was meant to live in this climate…although I am 75% German. I am an impatient person when it comes to my life. I feel I am always supposed to be 5 steps ahead of where I am and that aggravates me. At the same time I understand the value of what life brings you and truly believe that everything happens for a reason.
