Bob Findlay is a 40-year-old Scots-born State Registered Nurse & Musician residing in Tasmania who has recently returned to the music industry.
From the age of 16, Bob played consistently with bands, all of whom reached as dizzying as the heights got in Tasmania in the early 90s. He quit live performance in 1992 mainly due to his increasing cynicism towards the competitive nature intruding on what is not a competitive field.
He did, however, perform regular solo acoustic gigs & enterd the world of recording circa 1998.
He ceased most musical endeavours in 2002 after his marriage broke down as alcohol eventually got the better of him & his battle with it until early 2007 saw him perform very rarely & not record at all, such was the extent of his abuse.
His music is guitar-based rock, & is influenced by The Rolling Stones, The Faces Warren Zevon, Mick Taylor & Bob Dylan.
