GUILLOTINE

The band formed in the summer of 2006. They went without a name for a while but the name Guillotine stuck pretty soon. The founding members are: Czikmántori Rajmund (bass), Péter Csanád László (guitar) and Fodor Csaba (drums). Séra “Retek” István had helped them out with vocals/guitars. This was the line-up for a half a year which was rich in terms of writing and playing music, but poor in terms of live acts. Retek had to leave the band because he had moved to Hungary (where he plays with his new band, Turul) During the summer of 2007 Farkas Zoltán stepped in to become rhythm guitarist, and in the fall of the same year Hadnagy László took up vocal duties. 2007 wasn’t a year for live performances at all… They call their music Metal - it’s mostly Heavy Metal with some Hard Rock and Thrash Metal influences. With the taste for a wide range of musical genres (Rock N’ Roll, Hard Rock and Metal from the mildest to the most extreme), the band tries to bring a little something of that into their own music.
