I love Music, Experimental Fashion, Dance, Art and Street Culture.. I started getting into music at the age of ten,listening to New Wave and breakdancing to Electric Boogie like Cybotron, Man Parrish,Strafe,Yazoo or New Cleus. As time progressed, I started Djing Chicago Sounds like Adonis, Fast Eddy and Marshall Jefferson in 1986-1989. "Paris is burning", a voguing documentary about black and hispanic gays and their fierce way of dancing captured my musical interest of the New York music scene.As time progressed in the nineties, current music became very boring and very techno! . I discovered the early eighties underground, described as Minimal Music, as well as the first generation of german Punk and New Wave from 1978-1984 in the year 2000, which until today reflects my music and Djing taste.In 2003, the scene here in Frankfurt was pretty slow, so me and my husband started together the Neon Plastic Night, dedicated to the old school of Wave/Punk/Goth and Minimal.Our Concept was to have motto nights, emphasizing it with the music as well as the deco and super 8 Projections..We startet off with a smaller crowd of 130 People at the clubkeller. As the Partys progressed, it grew to 350 People at our last Neon Plastic Night in May 2006 at the Tanzhaus West, including an extra Minmal Floor dedicated only to electronic beats... www.ooom.de/plastic
