The band’s music derives form old good thrash metal that when performed by these musicians takes quite new extension and form.
Since the very beginning of its existence this group aims at creating the out-of-the-box music, running away form any proven patterns.
The band has given tenths of concerts, performed at numerous major Polish rock and metal music festivals; its records have been positively reviewed by major Polish music magazines such as Metal Hammer, Tylko Rock, Brum, Gitarzysta, Gitara i Bas, Gazeta Wyborcza.
‘Gate’ records have been presented on air on the III Station of Polish Radio, Radio dla Ciebie [Radio for You], and, still other regional radio stations. What is more, the band recorded a video for the ‘w duchu niewinna’ [‘Innocent in her spirit’] track for Polish Television Station 1.
The latest record, i.e. ‘machinacje’ [‘machinations’] is the first one, which is to be presented by the band to fans of music and metal music outside Polish borders; you may get acquainted with its reviews among others at Dutch , French, Norwegian, and, Italian websites devoted to music.
At present, together with the new front-woman of the band, vocal – Magda Cyrklaff, Gate is working on material for EP, which is about to be registered in September/October 2008.
Out of the great number of concerts we are to give this year, we sincerely welcome you to the 17/18-July-2008 concert at the Belarusian Basowiszcz Festival, and, to the 4-December-2008 one that is to be performed ‘live’ in the Polish Radio dla Ciebie [Radio for You].
Gate to istniejący od wielu lat polski zespół, który wydał trzy płyty „ w duchu niewinna" 1995 r., „dziki" 2001 r. oraz „machinacje" 2008 r. Jego muzyka ma swoje korzenie w starym dobrym thrash metalu, który w wykonaniu tych muzyków nabiera nowego wymiaru i formy. Od początku istnienia, celem tej grupy jest tworzenie muzyki nieszablonowej, uciekającej  sprawdzonym wzorom.
Zespół zagrał dziesiątki koncertów, wystąpił na wielu ważnych polskich festiwalach rockowych i metalowych, jego płyty były pozytywnie recenzowane przez najważniejsze polskie czasopisma muzyczne : Metal Hammer, Tylko Rock, Brum, Gitarzysta, Gitara i Bas, Gazeta Wyborcza.
Nagrania Gate były prezentowane na antenie programu III polskiego radio,  Radio dla Ciebie, oraz licznych rozgłośni regionalnych, zespół nagrał także teledysk do utworu „w duchu niewinna" dla pierwszego programu Telewizji polskiej.
Najnowsza płyta „machinacje" jest także pierwszą, którą zespół postanowił zaprezentować fanom muzyki i metalu poza granicami Polski. Z jej recenzjami można zapoznać się np. na stronach holenderskich, francuskich, norweskich, włoskich portali muzycznych.
Aktualnie wraz z nową w zespole frontwoman, wokal Magdaleną Cyrklaff, Gate pracuje nad materiałem na EP.
