About Me
Patricia Krebs is a multimedia artist, who grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Over the last thirteen years she has worked independently and in collaboration with artists, writers, actors, artisans, musicians and educators on many projects, in the capacity of a songwriter, producer, illustrator, portraitist, caricaturist, muralist, graphic designer, or making and designing puppets, masks, costumes, scenery or theatrical make up.As a musician, she is convoked for studio sessions and live performances to sing lead or background vocals; works as a vocal arranger and vocal trainer; records Spanish voiceovers for the singing parts on major movies, such as Happy Feet, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Corpse Bride, and Beowulf; and she is the singer/composer for the project PEAK in which she collaborates with drummer/percussionist/arranger/producer/husband Emiliano Almeida.As a visual artist, she exhibits her works internationally in galleries; renders CD and book covers; designs books for publishers; and, illustrates children's picture books, like "Zee... Adventure One: Borrowing China" (Librujas), "Circus Fever" (Three Wishes Publishing Company) and the recently published "Classic Songs, Rhymes and Activities in English, Spanish and ASL" by the award winning program developed by Classic Tales n' Tunes LLC.Her work was selected for the 2007 and 2008 Latino Heritage Month Cultural Guide, published by the Departament of Cultural Affairs of the City of Los Angeles.She's currently finishing an album.
