State of Emergency 2008 is an urgent call for the chosen to stand in the gap for the earth. We believe in the power of prayer, praise, worship and much fasting. It's the ministry's heart desire to create for the city of Washington, DC a place of rest and intense seeking. We are more than excited to be a part of the remnant of people who are taking a stand in this last hour. God has chosen us to go to all the world and be the voice that cry's lound and spare not. Please don't let yor heart be troubled, the Lord is with you and so are we. Fresh and exciting things ae going on in the Kingdom of God. JOIN IN...WE HAVE!This generation is at war with so many different spirits that we are almost force to pray in this latter day. The superficial and emotional infections of this world and its leaders saved and unsaved is out of control. They are concerned more about the empires they are building versus their inhabitants and thus left the church crippled. We desire to be those who help the body recover. It seems that daily they are resisting the power of God in their lives and being inundated with everything unholy or unchurchy (Judges 2:10 declares it best. Take a read!). It will take intense and interactive, high velocity types of ministry to grasp the attention of these whom are lead away from truth. Through the accurate music ministry, precise Word exaltation and assertive prayer warring we can do just that. I am even concerned about nothing less than clarified image control; this way we grip their attention even with the way present ourselves. If this type of care is taken into consideration we can cause them to mature in God with every passing minute they are there, as long as, the Holy Spirit is working through us. For the last few years, it seems’, that the older generations have had the leading roles in introducing the next generation to Christ, but C.Y.A.G. is willing to stand up and accept the challenge of introducing our own generation to God. This Christian Youth Alliance Group is board comprise of young people from all over the city who stand as watchmen on the wall. They stand as the monitors of the flow of collective activity of youth and young adult ministry in out wonderful city. This organization was established to assist in bringing a cohesiveness to the youth ministries throughout the metropolitan area and abroad. C.Y.A.G would love to introduce their first outreach idea in the year 2008. State of Emergency is a prayer, praise and worship One-Day Conference that seeks to help young people connect with God in an intense and fresh way. It’s the most important part of a young adult’s life; to connect with something and we want that connect to happen between them and Christ. This One-Day Conference will open up a portal from heaven to earth once we fill the building in unity and love through the connective power of the Holy Spirit.
