The band started with Chris, Fabian, Eric and Wei-En covering songs and just looking for an enjoyable outlet to make music. After playing for a while the band decided to get serious about writing music and songs started appearing left and right. In early 2008 they started playing shows at several venues around Austin. Not even close to their prime the band was forced to take a break mid 2008 while Wei-En left to finish school in Dallas and others in the band were themselves overwhelmed with the burdens of college.
In late 2008 the band decided it was time to suck it up and start making new music again. After practicing with a few different guitarists they settled on a long time friend of Chris and Fabian's. Nate came in and is filling in the empty gaps and In Situ Sound is making music again. Soon Wei-En will return and they will be an unstoppable force. In the meantime they will be playing shows around Austin and preparing the world for what is about to come.
