Bedouin & Hamish - Furthur Project Recordings

About Me

Bedouin and Hamish is the Furthur Project Recordings progressive B2B DJ project of Hamish Blair who also is a label DJ for Alchemy Records, working with MR. Shane Gobi and Mark Bedford (Bedouin) who has grown from the Domo Records stable under the guidance of DJ Nadi.
For these guys, individually ever present players on the London scene over the past few years, it was a natural combination of music style, energy and ethos that brought this project to life.
Having played in the tropical surrounds of Universo Parallelo in 2008 and recently the epic experience of playing a two hour set in the beautiful mid day heat of Boom Festival 2008!
Their ear for ‘the tune’ is standout and has been giving them an ever increasing following, which they hope to continue! They deliver sets which always embody groovy rhythm’s, chunky bass lines and an undercurrent of fluid energy. With a clear understanding of working the crowd and building sets, always expect this dynamic pairing to deliver big sounds and big production straight to the dancefloor with a natural ease.
Furthur Project recordings was born from the ethos of friends and new acquaintances working together to create something fresh with and open field to evolve. Bedouin and Hamish found their home as a back to back duo in this very barn! aaaah!
Feburary 2009 will see the launch of Furthur Project Recordings with it's debut compilation 'London Landscapes' compiled by Bedouin and Hamish, embodying the style they love to play and the music which they feel brings the most pleasure on the dancefloor, driving in your car or....even whlist you are washing your dishes!
Bedouin and Hamish are also available for childrens parties, weddings and Bar mitzvas!
