On a sunny day in late December of 1986, the universe was introduced to the reincarnate of The Panorama. Being raised in the infamous county of Humboldt, CA, he learned the ways of New Age philosophy and the culture of hidden cultivation. At a young age he was always on a no-limits mission to discover and understand all that is. He learned to play the piano at age 5, not because his parents told him to, but because he wouldn't have it any other way. Lessons soon became boring and the young boy began to create his own songs and try to mimic those he heard in movies and the radio- including rap beats. Around the age of 12, the boy obtained the proper cables to connect his keyboard to the computer, eventually leading to the mapping of drum loops and ultimately, composing beats. His older brother was an aspiring emcee, "Agent 83." Together, the brotherly duo of producer/MC recorded ridiculous yet impressive tracks. After linking up with the artist formerly known as DJ Gobblez, they had a trio- Gobblez on the tables, Agent on the mic, and Panorama on the keyboards and samplers. Through the years, Panorama performed and recorded with various bands such as Sars From Mars and the Get Lacy crew. From middle school through college, he was always practicing freestyling and perfecting writing skills, but production has always been his primary focus, until the recent years.
After dropping out of college at San Francisco State pursuing an audio production degree, the lost and unsure Panorama went to the mountains to work at a ski resort and snowboard, somehow thinking that this would accelerate his career. Sure enough, it did.
One evening while boozing and xboxing with some associates he became engaged in a conversation with an individual discussing the matter of hiphop. He was wearing a hoody that said, 'Humboldt' on it. This sparked interest in the other fellow, whom queried, "so what is the name of your label?" He replied, "Panorama Productions." The other fellow then walked outside to his vehicle only to return with an unmarked CD, which he then preceded to play in the stereo. The CD was of Panorama's instrumentals, and this fellow had already written, memorized, and performed lyrics to these tracks. Instantly a mystic and inevitably destined kinship was formed between the two. The other fellow's name was EternaL, and since then these two individuals have created songs which are by no means mediocre. In fact they are quite marvelous. Through this networking, Panorama was introduced to the LA underground, a vast yet legitimate arsenal of kings and queens all dead-set on rising to the top. And this is where the story truly begins.
The next solo album is scheduled for release sometime this fall, given that adequate quality control is administered on all fronts... PEACE!!!
