I am a charming little villa built in 1665, in the Emilia Romagna region. I'm 343 years old, and counting (yes I've been restored.) I'm located on fifty private acres of land on my own mountain named Monteradicchio, in the provence of Bologna. Monteradicchio, and it's surrounding villages have a rich history: Monteradicchio is named on a map found in the Vatican dating to the early 1300's. I'm aprox 50 minutes from the Bologna city center, and abut 10 minutes up in the mountains from the lovely paese, or village of Vergato; and just an hour from Florence. I'm located in the heart of a thriving art community in Italy that includes Monteradicchio, Luminasio, Pernocchio, Lastra, Rede, and Buda. Over the past 20 years, many artists, musicians and writers have flocked to this area for its peaceful, inspirational beauty. I overlook Tuscany to the South where I bask in sunsets fit for gods; frequently accompanied by the music of church bells cascading up from local villages. Every day a family of deer grazes through my woods, frequently nibbling at my doorstep. I’m also home to numerous indigenous birds, rabbits, and wild boar. Truffles grow wild in my forests and I'm home to over 200 Italian chestnut trees, numerous Cherrys, a multitude of other flowering and nut trees; and a world of wild flowers that burst out in the spring. I'm available for rent from late spring to early fall, when my owners are away. Do you want to bathe in the rays of my day, and dance by the light of my moon?
