Purpose

God bless everybody. Like most folks I've done almost everything under the sun. From selling drugs,robbing people,womanizing,fornicating,smoking and drinking. I don't say these things to brag but to give you an idea of what God can change in your life, no matter how messed up you are. As a matter of fact when God showed himself to me, I was still doing these things. Of course it took some time to change but I had my mind made up to live for Jesus. It didn't matter what other people said if they saw me messing up because I knew in my heart that God was working with me and in me. I realized I had to get to the root of why I did what I was doing. When I got mad I wanted a blunt or drink so I realized the bigger problem was controlling my anger because that's what led me to drink and smoke, then my body got dependant on it. God told me He had bigger things to deal with besides smoking weed. He wanted me to work on lust,cussing, judging(don't act like you don't know) Most importantly, I learned that God wanted my heart to be right then all the other things will fall into place. Once I began to ask God to clean my heart and show me how to love and forgive, I noticed other things started to become undesireable. Yes I did backslide a couple times but I always bounced back harder and stronger because God showed me through my mistakes where I needed work. God called me into ministry while I was still sinning. He gave me the name Purpose and said I would be going to the hood,projects, jails etc. using the music as a tool. Now of course I thought I was tripping . A year later I was healed from disease and He confirmed again what He wanted me to do. I'll tell my business to help folks understand God is real and nothing is to hard for Him.This happened in 2003. Since then I've been to all the places He said I would.He gave me the vision of my c.d. cover which is what I have now. Look. It's time to keep it real with God people. We all struggle but God wants us to use the Spirit to help us(Romans 8:13) He wants use to repent(Romans 10:9) and change the way we think(Romans 12:2) Don't let the devil fool you. God is everything right so we must be holy through God's eyes and that's why you must confess Jesus is Lord and get washed in the blood. The blood gives you desire to change if your real about Christ.(Hebrews 9:14) Stop letting people discourage you and have you thinking their any better then you. God decides whos right not man(2cor.10:18)(Romans 8:33-34) Don't get angry when you hear the truth about something your doing and you know it's wrong. Think of it as God warning you and correcting you. Sometimes He has to use people because we get caught in our mess so much we don't hear him telling us and warning us. Conviction should make you want to change not get angry. Remember, people hated and wanted to kill Jesus because He told the truth(John 8:40) One more thing, learn to wait on God. He waits on us to get right so we should wait and trust God to look out for us. It's God's time not ours. Who are we to question the creator of the universe who's always on time. How else can we learn how to have faith. I hope this encourages someone. God Bless and Christ up !!!!!!!!! Gone ! (2 Corinthians 5:20)
