Please keep in mind our Sunday, May 17th show is an ALL-AGES show. Hoever the admission fee does apply to everyone, no matter their age. Admission of $15 covers food, drinks, raffles and five bands!
Now Worth Remembering was founded in November 07 by two friends, Bob and Amanda. Bob currently still plays with the band Albatross and Amanda used to sing for All Envy Aside, and Neverstatic. The two had a passion for writing original music and decided to collaborate, however, timing was also an issue for both of their busy schedules. They decided to create a blues/rock/jam band that would play originals and only play out appx. 6-12 times per year. Shortly after their initial discussion, Amanda posted several ads on Milwaukeerocks.com with the title "Busy, But Not Ready To Quit?" She was flooded with responses, and within the following two weeks, auditions had begun. Patrick was the next to join the project on guitar, followed by Tim on drums, and our NEWEST member, Todd on bass. The POINT of this band was to keep each individual's priorities of family, spouses, children, and work, but to not give in to the idea of giving up on our passion just because life gets busy.
HOWEVER, as we refocused our music and instrumental vibe to more of a darker alternative rock, the demand for NWR increased ten fold over 2008, to the point that sadly, our drummer Tim was no longer able to keep up with the commitment. Though he will be soarly missed, the overall success of NWR has been so amazing, that we have decided to refocus and play out as a full time band. After several weeks and many well done auditions, we decided to go with out new drummer Scott Wilcox. He has been added to opur top friends so feel free to check him out and get to know him. Although hard, we feel we mad ethe absolute right choice in Scott, so come on out and see him show his stuff off at our next show!! Without further adieu, I present,
