then welcome to my website! (more bands added once site kicks off)
since i was 10 music has been my life and as the years have gone by i have become more and more involved.
to me music is more meaningful if i know the story behind the writer, if i can dive into their thoughts or their past and find out just where the pain portrayed in the songs comes from or who and indeed what influenced thier outragious characters in thier lyrics.
that was reason one i set up this website. to find out about the bands, what influenced them, why they are who they are and general information about the people you admire
but the main reason i set this up falls within the forum
as i learnt about these rockstars, grew to admire them more and more each day, i devoloped a new hobby, a new passion
meeting bands.
i met at least one person from all but 2 of the bands on the list. no prize guessing that the 2 bands i haven't met are mcr and green day. it's an ambition i doubt will ever be forfilled but meeting the other 4 bands meant so much to me
recently i went to the taste of chaos tour and met 2 young aiden fans. they had a file with them full of photos of aiden and in the back were a pile of letters from thier friends to the band
thats gave me the idea
i'm lucky enough to get to gigs and meet these wonderful people but some fans don't have the time or money, but some have more importantthings to say.
and so rockstar fandom was born inside my mind. a website about the bands where i can also inform fans weeks before i see a band so they can post letters to thier fave rockstars which i will print out and present in a file to the band.
