General: Science and sex (or vice-versa). More specific: bondage and discipline, sociological theory, pantyhose, darwinism, sadomasochism, atheism, uniforms, antipatriotism, female feet and toes, evolutionary biology and evolutionary psychology, human sexuality and sexual behavior, anal toys, scientific skepticism, underwear, left-wing politics, domination and submission, critical thinking, swinging, social interaction, lingerie, microsociology, nipples, debunking pseudoscience, nudism, cultural materialism, lesbians, rationalism, lubricants, journalism, fetishism in general. And tea-drinking.
People with similar interests, of course. But no one in particular, though. I am here because everyone is, so I've conformed. Not very poetic and/or heroic, but I am not much of a poet or a hero in the first place.
Rock and roll, Punk and/or garage rock; Blues and Soul. Namely: Turbonegro, Nasville Pussy, Bruce Springsteen, The Donnas, Pulp, Bellrays, Supersuckers, Juliette and the Licks, Videosex, Violent Femmes, Manic Street Preachers, The Hellacopters, The Come Ons, 5.6.7.8's, Leningrad Cowboys, The Dirtbombs, Hladno Pivo, Atheist Rap, Red Union and some Clash and Sex Pistols. And porn trash such as E-Rotic. Concerning Blues/Soul: BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jonny Lang (the early one), Kenny Wayne Shepherd, John Lee Hooker, Ian Siegal, Big Bill Broonzy, Memphis Slim and Eric Clapton (where he's playing the blues) together with soul (or rhythm and blues) classics of Wilson Pickett, Sam and Dave, Booker T and the MG's, Albert King, James Brown, Andre Williams, Elvis Presley (in the 1970s), and covers by The Blues Brothers and The Commitments. Some swing is also appreciated (such as Cherry Poppin' Daddies or Brian Setzer) and some standard lounge music such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis (again), and Richard Cheese as well. And, very important, rock and roll of AC/DC, The Beatles (after the Revolver, and White album mostly), and some ABBA too. It isn't that various nor redundant when you really think of it.
I'll stick with some representative classics (there's no point in naming some rarities thus deliberately trying to look cool and/or arty): Annie Hall (1977), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), Clerks (1994), Smoke (1995), Blue in the Face (1995), Le gendarme de Saint-Tropez series (1964-1982), A Clockwork Orange (1971), Eyes Wide Shut (1999), Roger Dodger (2002), The Blues Brothers (1980), The Blues Brothers 2000 (1998), Natural Born Killers (1994), American Beauty (1999), The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996), Amarcord (1974), Vertigo (1958), Psycho (1960), Bad Liutenant (1992), As Good As it Gets (1997), Last Tango in Paris (1972), The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), Scent of a Woman (1992), The Big Lebowski (1998), Goodbye Lenin (2003), Atame! (1990), High Heels (1991), Zelig (1983), Husbands and Wives (1992), Deconstructing Harry (1997), Anything Else (2003) and many more.
