dj lightning started his career off at the age of 14 djing house parties and event's for my older brother (eddie 4 years older and his friends) i was djing there parties with tape decks!!! At the age of 16 i started working at a club in detroit called (legends) barbacking where i started to meet some of the hottest jock's in the state and across the world there. Which seeing these guy's perform inspired me to get with the program and start practicing, so i went out and bought two technic 1200 turntables and a gemini mixxer and stated to do my thing until i was fortunate to run into a couple of the hottest dj's in detroit to guide me along and they are dj's wax-tax n' dre and dj gary chandler!!!!!!!! my first club to ever dj @ was legend's night club and from there i did river rock ,bono's,kickers,malarkey's pub,mixx lounge,delux lounge,club bleu,bummper's bar&grill,goodtime charlie's,seven , sip's, crave,state theater, us-12 and many many more venue's!!!!!!!! I have also competed in two dj battle's the first one was @ bono's in southgate where i took second place , and my most recent battle was 105.9 before it switched to to 102.7 and it was the dj supply/pepsi dj battle and that battle i also took second place i lost to a well know jock in detroit know as 102.7's dj jinxx!! The two battle's were a great experience and a huge honor to me. Now here are some other dj's i wanna give credit to dj dan tavares, dj godfather , and my homie my ace dj cue thank you all so much for guiding me to be who i am today. At the present time i am open to do special event's and i am a resident dj @ malarkey's in southgate wednesday, thursday , friday and satuday night's!!!!!!!! i spinn top 40 , hip hop ,house , breakbeat,ghettotech,and mash-up's!! also two last people i wanna thank are my parent's without them i would not be here :) and my boy dj b-man he is another soilder in the dj game with the tight tight mixx's also i cannot forget my hommie last but not least niko my dawg from detroit!!!!! hi is currently doing his thing on the air @ z-100 in new york niko i am gonna be there right with you real soon man !!!!!!!!!!!!
