About Me

After singing in school musicals, church performances and worship teams, I moved out to South Kansas City in 2002 to join the International House of Prayer. I've been there over 5 years a worship leader and singer. I've done backup vocals for a few cd's at IHOP including Misty Edwards', Always on His Mind, IHOP Compilations like Constant and Limited Editions (various volumes). I'm currently worship leading with Tim Reimherr in the morning section at IHOP and traveling with the Onething Regional Conferences and TheCall.

All of the sets I've recorded are available for FREE at www.joannareyburn.com and I encourage you to download and share. Most of the live worship is much too lengthy to upload to myspace.

Discovered in Conversation

In conversation, I have realized that perhaps my thoughts on God are a little unorthodox. I just assumed that all "believers" felt the way that I do. Perhaps this is not the case.I have great expect...

Getting a Word in Edgewise

I am in a spiritual community in which the common, subconscious assumption is that a prayer environment [read prayer room] changes things deep within our hearts by osmosis. The idea is that you can ge...

What I’ve Learned from Heather Clark

I've been leading worship at IHOP for 6 years now. Recently I took a break from my full-time worship leading schedule to pray about how to move forward. I don't have a lot of direction right now, bu...
