Hybrid Retention is a progressive, experimental, metal band from Los Angeles, California. This quintet of young talented musicians banded together in early 2008 to rid the mortal world of posers, bros, and generic music. After a year of screwing around, the band is nearly done with their album “The Lament of the Pantomimeâ€. Members include Tristan Koester on guitar and cello, Joe McMahon on guitar and death vokillz, Joey Nichols keys and punx vox, J Tyler Johnson on bass and clean vocals, and Danny Padilla on drums. The fusion of various subgenres of metal and many other genres, leave listeners’ brains melted, their minds blown, and their souls devoured.
