Catamount offers the most green circle terrain in the Berkshires- including one of the gentlest, easiest learning areas anywhere in snow counrty. Plus, meadows- a huge, glorious, six-trail complex served by its own lift, and featuring Upper Promenade, a newer trail providing a mile long green circle run.
Cruisers enjoy miles of groomed blue-square terrain, including a route from the summit 2 and 1/2 miles long- the Berkshires longest run.
Challenge? Try Catapult- the steepest trail in the Berkshires, and one of the most challenging trails anywhere in the Northeast. You can also go HUGE in the half pipe or the terrain park. It's bigger and better this year. Also, new this year, there is the 'meadow lark fun park' which is a practice area for those new to the park elements.
THE CAT IS ON THE MOVE because Catamount keeps changing and getting better. Last year, we added 3 new trails- including a mile long route for green circle skiers and numerous other expansions and improvements. This year, there is even MORE cool stuff to talk about- perhaps the coolest in Catamount history. First, theres a new lift. we've replaced the old double chair lift, serving the Medows Learning Area, with a tripple chairlift- our first. We've also expanded base facilities with the new Taconic Lodge. AND, we've expanded the Berkshires best and largest terrain park yet again.
