Liar's Drive is a post-hardcore band from the southeast side of Chicago. The band has existed since January of 2008. Liar's Drive consists of Chris (guitar), Tim (bass), Jeff (drums), Felipe (vocals), and Eric (guitar). Fans get ecstatic off of the energy that Liar's Drive delivers from their on-stage performance and melodious songs. The band's passion is to always to put on a good show and really get the crowd into it. When writing music, LD sits around a bonfire and all of the members switch instruments to write each other’s parts. They write music that they enjoy playing and that has meaning, with the hope that others will enjoy it as well.
Liar's Drive's first show was at Lever Brothers Hall in Whiting, Indiana. They felt they lacked in performance quality. But... they were just shy clams then. They quickly stepped up, playing shows at venues like Mojoes Rock House in Tinley Park, Illinois, Sonic Portrait Showcase in Morris, Illinois, the Buzz Bomb Club in Bedford Park, Illinois, and the Canopy Club in Urbana, Illinois. They received their first big break from Mojoes Rock House, allowing them to share the stage with Our Last Night, signed to Epitaph Records.
LD seeks to achieve greatness in their music careers. They give their 100% all of the time and are grateful for each and every fan. Their EP, “the liar’s drive EP” will be available at shows, and to order online by August. More shows are being planned for the summer in the Chicago/NW Indiana area.
