When I was nineteen, I bought a one way greyhound ticket and headed for the "City of Angels",Los Angeles. I found a few of them but those connections were few and far between. I decided I was spinning my wheels in that civilization after four years and made the decision to come back home and accomplish something for myself(college).
Music is the one constant that I have found to be therapeutic throughout my life and travels. Music truly is the language of the angels,a kind of universal language that has allowed me to express what only words can not. I have many songs and ideas that i want to share with the world when the time is right.
Patience is my most powerful enemy and I am learning how to use it everyday to my advantage. I have been working on my performance self for a year now at every open mic that I could find since I stepped up at Molly Malone's in Hollywood for the first time. I have found my hometown to be a wonderful place of free thinkers who want to share their ideas just the same. I had not ever thought of Louisville in this way before. I never gave it a chance. Since I left town when I was so young, I never got to explore my own birthplace or have a beer at one of the many local artistic hangouts that can be found here. I have been warmly welcomed at many of the open mic's around this unique and growing town, and I anticipate some timeless sounds emerging from this city.
