I've heard it said, that people come into our lives for a reason. Bringing something we must learn, and we are led to those who help us most to grow, if we let them. And we help them in return. Well I don't know if I believe that's true, but I know that I'm who I am today, because I knew you...
...It well may be, that we will never meet again in this lifetime, so let me say before we part - So much of me is made of what I learned from you. You'll be with me like a handprint on my heart. And now, whatever way our stories end, I know you have rewritten mine, by being my friend.
I have a lot of different nicknames, but most of my friends just call me Em. I just graduated from Eagle Valley High School, and now I'm a freshman at the University of Wyoming. I grew up in a small mountain town for most of my life, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Singing is my passion. I love everything about it, especially the rush of performing in front of an audience. I'm a pretty happy person and I enjoy life. I try to make the most out of every day. I'm a total smartass, but don't take it personally. I love chunky peanut butter, making out, elephants, pinkie-swears, Smiling Moose, baseball players, Dane Cook, Koala Bear Yummies, shopping, country music, (really I love every kind of music), John Mayer, avocados, Chicago, and my little sister. I really don't love my cowlick, bad grammar, math, people who leave long messages, needles, feet, and goodbyes. I'm extremely forgetful, and it has kind of been a problem lately. Recently I've learned that you have to take life as it comes, and just be yourself. It's too much of a hassle to worry about what everyone else thinks, and no matter what, you can't please everybody. You can't just go through life expecting everyone to do things for you, and for everything to just fall into place. It just doesn't work that way. No matter what you do, you can't change someone. You also can't change the inevitable, so why worry about it? Life throws a lot at you, but you just have to roll with the punches, and make the best of what you have. Eventually you find out who your true friends are, and that's probably one of the best revelations in the world. You can't make someone fall in love with you, and you shouldn't be with someone that you don't absolutely adore. And a teacher once told me, that everything in life somehow relates to the T.V. show, Friends. I wholeheartedly believe that. Oh, and I'm totally going to marry an Irishman! But that's about it I guess, if you really want to know more about me, then add me. I can't deny friendship!

"Okay, here it is, your choice... it's simple, her or me, and I'm sure she is really great. But Derek, I love you, in a really, really big pretend to like your taste in music, let you eat the last piece of cheesecake, hold a radio over my head outside your window, unfortunate way that makes me hate you, love you. So pick me, choose me, love me." --Meredith Grey

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves,
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others."
