After a string of lo-fi loop-oriented E.P.s, pseudo-acclaimed Peterborough ultra-instrumentalist, SEAN CONWAY won the Peterborough Folk Festival's Emerging Artist Award for 2008. ////////////// Lately, he's began hosting a weekly open stage at Dreams of Beans every Wednesday evening (138 Hunter St. W, Peterborough). ///////////////////// Since 2006, he has performed with the likes of; Tanya Tagaq, Ohbijou, The Burning Hell, The Kettle Black, Wax Mannequin, Craig Cardiff and Timber Timbre. ////////////////////// He has guested on guitars, banjos, drums, etc with the likes of; Keith Secola and The Wild Band of Indians, The Burning Hell, Sarah DeCarlo, and many others; while performing regularly all around the Kawarthas, with a keen dedication to mastering his art; painting, performing, writing, busking and speaking.
