earllrae, AKA Earl spent his early life in Wichita, Kansas where he was highly influenced by a blend of Rock, R&B, Hip Hop and Pop. He grew up with listing to music of artists such as James Brown, Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, Earth Wind & Fire, Led Zeppelin, George Clinton, Chicago, Steely Dan, The Jackson's, Prince, The Time, Rick James, Run D.M.C. Ohio Players, Isley Brothers, Xavion, Living Colour, Van Halen, Cameo and Slave to name a few. These artists laid the foundation for his advancements in his production skills and musical theory.
In 1990, Earl made his move to Texas where he attended Jarvis Christian College meeting great friends, jazz pianist, music collaborator Chris Wilson and KNAGUI, Original Soul Artist. Throughout the mid 90's, he founded earllrae productions located in Dallas, TX and honed skills as a songwriter, keyboardist, bassist and rhythm guitarist. Working with area college bands, gospel groups and solo artists he studied the musical trends and emotions that were and are still emerging. Earl's intentional re-direction of his career enabled him to hone his production and songwriting skills to an almost un-comparable level. He has combined his proven musicianship and musical sensibilities with his exposure to genres such as Alternative Rock, Acid Jazz, Hip-Hop and R&B, all the while emphasizing very musical production standards. Earl has always been the type that liked taking chances on something new.
In 2003, Earl debut mark on the music industry has definitely proven his love and dedication to his art and productions of Marco and record label Set-Fire. To date, Earl is currently producing his solo album, however still manage to maintain involvement in other diverse music production, remix projects and upcoming artist for the future.
