Biography
Joey Black was born Joseph McClendon in the city of Detroit.
He has a passion for hip-hop music. He started recording at the
age of 15 in a small studio. He was molded and trained to be a
hip-hop emcee with no limits to where he can take his music.
He has performed at big venues, such as Detroit?s famous Hart
Plaza.Projects
Joey Black finished his first solo project in 2007 entitled,
?My Redemption EP?. It received 3 out of 4 !s in UK?s Hip
Hop Connection magazine. His first single off of the album
was produced by DJ X-plicit of Daleth Music Group. FatFace
of Platinum Gates in London, UK produced tracks ?Walk
Away? and ?What He Did 2 U?. Also, he can be heard in
France on Underground School Mixtape, Volume 1.
ProjectsCurrent projects consist of working on ?The Road to Perdition? and
?Across the Pond featuring FatFace? Release date: late 2009.
Joey Black is not just an artist, writer, and lyricist. He is an established
businessman. He is CEO to Daleth Music Group (DMG). DMG?s mission is to
bring quality music to the world. In addition, he has managed to break barriers
nationally and overseas.
