Mistri Entertainment is a Los Angeles-New York-Guadalajara (mx) based entertainment company which was established in 2003.Mistri Records was founded in 2002 by CEO and Lead artist K-Mex. Originally intended to be an outlet to release his music, Mistri entertainment has become a Multi Media company. This lead to the decision of encompassing several business ventures aside from music. Naturally it seemed fitting to merge the label into a full blown company now know as Mistri Entertainment. Mistri Entertainment is the parent company to a number of other branches including but not limited to: Mistri Records, Mistri Films & Television, Mistri Clothing, Mistri Models, Mistri Adult Productions, and Mistri Radio/Vintage Musik radio. More and more business ventures are coming as the days go by. Mistri is currently in business dealings with a number of investors, major labels and more to take the company to an international level. As of 2008 Mistri Entertainment has released a number of albums selling over 30,000 plus copies worldwide on an independent scale. No major promotion, Million dollar marketing budget or mainstream Music Video has been needed thus far. As the industry changes, so must Mistri's focus and the mainstream is certainly the goal for the upcoming years. Artists signed to the Mistri roster Include K-Mex, Phille, Chan$e Money, Mistri Fam, L.S.A. & Geoff Antonio (joint venture with V.A. Entertainment).With several new artist scheduled to come on bored in 08/09. Mistri Entertaiment is currently working on various projects in all aspects of entertainment and is looking to be a well known name in the upcoming years. My technical approach to rhyming leaves no room for credible criticism, therefore people look for an easier target such as beats, hooks, etc. In my youth I looked at rap videos and listened to rap songs in "awe" of something I couldn't do. I studied and trained to rhyme this way. A verse from me is a display of complete lyrical fitness. If it's so easy to rhyme like me, then more people would sound me. If 50 solid Bars were easier than empty 16's then I would not be challenged. If nursery rhymes were the ceiling for hip hops' growing audience then I would have never put pen to paper. From the beginning I aimed to make a statement in rap music as a lyricist. I pushed myself to keep it tight with every line I said. The art will evolve but right now apathy is the easy way out. Outside of the mass media and chart positions, I see the clear poetic value of my contribution to rap music. I am human, a part of humanity, and I write what I feel. If Hip Hop isn't 21st century poetry then I don't know what is.....get at me on AIM sometime-Slyboogie1
