I have a career selling and building playgrounds, but music is still a huge part of my life, mainly as a hobby now. Born in Chicago, but hailing from all around the US including the infamous Centralia, Illinois, Naples, Florida, and Madison, Wisconsin, I've been playing music since the age of 15. I started when I was in the Centralia High School Marching Showcase Drumline. Starting on drums, but later conforming to the guitar, I started writing music with influences coming from wide varieties such as The Beatles, Beastie Boys, 311, David Bowie, Run-Dmc, Elton John, Def Leppard, Poison, Prince, The Flaming Lips, Ween, Midnight Oil, George Clinton, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash, and yes, even artists like Donna Summer and the Bee Gees, just to name a few. I started writing songs and recording music with friends in Centralia, Illinois in 1992/1993 with the band The Psychedelic Paisleys, eventually calling ourselves Gobbledygook before disbanding. I wrote a few more songs with friends in Centralia before moving to Naples, Florida in 1994. In 1996 I started writing and recording rock/rap/soul style music, and started a band known as Mamma Jamma with friends when I moved back to Illinois (Champaign, to be exact), only to exist a short period of time. In 1997 I moved to Madison, Wisconsin, where I attended Madison Media Institute, and graduated as a Recording Engineer in 2000. There I fell into a group of friends that were djs in the underground scene, and soon picked up dj'ng as well, releasing 3 "live" mixes, "Discosapien", "Liquid Disco", and "..When The Sound Hits.." I again moved back to Naples, Florida in 2000 and after only dj'ng charity events, moved to Carbondale, Illinois in 2001 to become a part of the Underground scene there, and also starting the "80s rock" influenced group The Touch, which was involved in the Centralia, Illinois Halloween Parade in 2002. When I realized that free beer doesn't pay the bills, I moved back to Florida to work odd jobs, and to write more music, recording the Hip-Hop influenced "Boom Boom Shake", and dj'ng weddings for friends. In 2005, I started recording again in High Ridge, Mo, and Collinsville, Illinois, this time being more Indie rock and accoustically based. I now reign in the South Bay Area of California, and continue to write songs about Love, Life, and Having Fun.
