This site was made as a tribute to one kid. This kid is CASEY CALVERT. Casey was the guitarist/screamist, in Hawthorne Heights...He was funny, quirky, and all around a big kid. He supported To Write Love On Her Arms, and believed deeply in it. On November 23, 2007 Hawthorne Heights kicked of their tour "Wintour" in Detroit. After the show, Casey, friends, and Hawthorne Height’s, all gathered around in the lounge of the bus. It was histerical...Casey was singing the Aladdin Theme song. He went to bed sometime after 2:00 a.m. The next day November 24, Casey was taken away from us. It was discovered when Hawthorne Heights went to sound check. They noticed that Casey wasn't there so Eron went to look for him. He found Casey in his bunk not responding. He had died. It is a fact that he died of acute combined effects of prescription medications and opiates, citalopram and clonazepam intoxication and also Vicodin. His kind of death was one in several million. stated by Dr. John Mendelson. He was taking Vicodin only because right before he had left to go on tour he had, had a root canal. He was only 26 years old, he had a wife, and was going to be an uncle. He was the only boy in his family and he has one sister, her name is Cory. He was way to young to die, and he is missed by many. There have been several bands stating comments about Casey and how much of a light-hearted person he truly was. He has called himself a guitarist/"SCREAMIST", and on his 26th birthday he said that "Today is a good day. Twenty-six years ago A PEICE OF AMERICAN HISTORY, was born. That person was Me ". He was just a year shy of graduating college when he decided to quit and travel with Hawthorne Heights years ago. He was going to school to be a teacher. He wasn't a drug addict, or some rock star that lived his life in everything illegal possible...He was in music...and a Rock Star because he loved his fans, the music itself, and being able to live his life doing something he enjoyed. This was being apart of something real, this was a band by the name of HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS well, feel free to add, comment, or message.
