This allows us to once more show you some old songs, such as "Påsen tar sig ton", Förskaffenskapens blockader" and "Thoughts of Honour". All of these are from a very early stage of our career, so keep that in mind when listening... Old Man's Party is all done, even though it has been re-uploaded several times due to some finishing-touches. New Year's Eve is still work in progress, new lyrics are almost done, but we hope to get Dan to sing this song. Furthermore we hope to re-record Christmas-Eve eventually. At the moment all our efforts is being put it our work with a fan-requested cover. "Bangulo" has been offered this opportunity, and he chose "Lady fantasy" with Camel. Things are going great, and you can not imagine how nicely it's coming together! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: News 01/12: Gold Rush Orchestra celebrates 1 year as a band! Sadly it was in the middle of a hectic week, so we couldn't go to wild... Never the less GRO manage to get some quality-time together on this very special day. First we went and played table-tennis for about 2h (only paid for one!), then to our second home "Nelles pizza-restaurant" in Årsta and because of the special day, we all shared a family-pizza. Finally we shot some zombies in CoD5, a nice end of our first birthday. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: News 02/11: A special sneak peak version of Old Man's Party is up, just to please all of you eager fans. We are moving slowly towards our first album, but we have currently moved our focus to another project. Gold Rush Art Studios are recording a full length film, with which we hope to seduce the Cannes Film Festival . Of course we have to be realistic, and even we realize that it will take at least a year to get the film completed. So don't expect to hear from it until Cannes Festival in 2010. Hope you have great expectations! The new songs aren't each other alike, so you should statically like one of them at least. As a sneak peak we've uploaded an early version of the new song "New Year's Ever". We've written the lyrics, but we haven't had the time to record... Hope you like, anyway. In the new video further down (Progress), you can hear a song ( that never was intentioned to be anything, and still is nothing. But it's there, along with some "funny" clips. (Update!) That song is now in the player, it's called Outbreak and maybe isn't as silly as we first thought!:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::: Biography We are a group in it's early stage, however the bar is set high from the very beginning. This ambitious project is about joining two old friend's creativity, of which suffers from severe under-stimulation. The songs just become what they became, we haven't yet decided to which style we're going to stick with. We do whatever we feel like doing at the moment, and the songs turn out quite different. It might not always be an appealing subject to the listener but it will always be a very personal piece of art from us. The early songs are built on existing music which we want to bring into the light, though we've done our own version of them and united them with our own way of approach the music-scene. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Biografi: Allt började den 1 december 2007, en regnig och kall svensk vinterdag i vakumets tid mellan den färgranna hösten och den mysiga juletiden med vitsnö och små ljus i vart och vart annat fönster. Just denna gråa tid var som gjord för att kunna utnyttja understimulansen hos oss till något kreativt. Musiken blev vårat, liksom många andras svar. Ett sammarbete i musik kom ganska naturligt för oss, två vänner sedan barnsben som tillsammans alltid spottat idèer om det ena och det andra. I musiken kunde vi nu äntligen använda dessa ideer till att faktiskt skapa något som består, och inte glöms bort när nya tankar tar fart. På en kväll (1 dec.) skapades snabbt grunden till tre låtar som nästa dag bearbetades och sedan publicerades; Vinterkanin, Påsen tar sig ton (om de små sakerna som håller glädjen i schack) och det provokativa exprimentet; Sten, sax och påse. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
