Miru (Mina Daegling) is a MichiCuban (born in Cuba grew up in Michigan) who plays Music to regenerate souls and to celebrate anything positive! Miru comes from a family of flamenco/classical guitarists both her parents played guitar as does her sister.
Miru is the founding member and Lead Guitarist of the Ft. Myers based, 4 women Acoustic Guitar band - the Palm City Girls.
Miru is also Lead Guitarist/Vocalist and Songwriter for the visual band Lilac!
Miru was also Lead Guitarist for SilverBranch, a Celtic band.
From 2004 -2006 Miru played in D-Coy:Peacock Guitars/Vocals
Miru's passionate about Music around the world, the Fae Arts, Writing Original songs and promoting girls to play guitar!. In fact,as an educator, Miru wrote and implemented a Grant that allowed her to teach hundreds of Migrant children to play guitar in Immokalee, FL.
Miru is the President of the Caloosahatchee Folk Society - an Alliance in Southwest Florida that preserves and promotes Acoustic/Folk/Blues/Roots music. This MichiCuban also spearheaded the"Red Tent and Candles Benefit Concert" in Ft. Myers, FL for the SWFL Candlelighters held on March 22, 2008. She is also spearheading the next CFS Candlelighters Benefit in November 2008 called "Autumn Candles" Prior to this project, Miru was also a professional fimmaker (Cinematics)
