i'm the kinda cat that likes to work hard so i can play even harder! i'm the owner & C.E.O. of Bornstar Entertainment & first artist on the Bornstar Music roster. my ultimate goal iz 2 uplift the music game and give people GOOD, CREATIVE music instead of the same ole, over-promoted bullshit we hear everyday, ALLDAY. (tell me y mega labels crankin out CD's with one hot single, a nursery rhyme hook & 11 filler songs on the CD ya dig?) my peers dubbed me Yellz da Bornstar cause my branches cover EVERYTHING from r&b 2 hip-hop 2 rock. i like 2 think of my self as a pioneer while everybody else sees me as obsessed & compulsive, but i figure the only way 2 "get it" is to set extremely high goals. if a door closes on me i dont quit, i run that shit over and learn how to do it myself. "who's gonna stop me other than me?!" iz the motto i live by.
i rep Houston to the fullest cause i feel like itz home, i've been there the longest outta everywhere i've lived and we dont have much male representation in the R&B game from our city... but best believe i come 2 hold it down. i started the whole Bornstar thing in 2004 with R&B prodigy, Aure.. & supa-producer/rapper, Yung Taz. i have been mastering my craft for the past 8 years but started my career writing songs 4 Ginuwine, Playa & Blackground Entertainment. since then i have written songs 4 Omarion, Aure' Mohagani & others. i am an accomplished producer, producing 4 countless up & comers in Houston & Philly & ive even been called 2 duty on choreography projects 4 Ginuwine & Shazaam (of H-Town). i have featured on countless album projects from the likes of Bunzzy Wittle, Rick Blaze, PDL, Playa Pawtnas & countless others. i even tried my hand at acting as an understudy in stage plays like "Momma Didn't Raise No Fool" starring Howard Hewitt & Coko (form SWV) & "When I Return" starring Neyo & Jeffrey Osborne.
now i'm all set to release my debut album this summer titled "Unleashed & Unmixed" filled with heaterz that get the party started, seductive ballads that set the after-party mood, my own personal style experiences that i feel everybody can relate 2 & get lost in! i'm dedicating that album 2 ALL the haterz (the ones that hate are the same ones in ur face later huh?! so "GET UP OFF MY..." there's a reason for that single) i'm not cocky just confident & tired of people trying to hold real talent back. (hatin asses mad cause da chicks dig me & i STILL rock da crowd!... (got Yellz laughin hard!) itz all good though cause this Bornstar's shine cant be eclipsed... recognize real when u c it & maybe u can roll wit me instead of gettin rolled over!
