This is D, I was born and raised in Spokane WA. Graduated from East Valley in 91, went into the military and eventually found my self slaving away 9-5. I met my wife and we were married in 2000, she's awesome, couldn't ask for more. We have three Really great/Gifted boys,. I got the name from the killer, half glazed way I look when on stage and in the moment. I've been listening and rocking out to all forms of music since I was real young and my dad claims he regrets that all music was played entirely way too loud around the house, and he's sorry. But I still have my ears and an appreciation for Alice Cooper, led Zeppelin, Hendrix and Priest. Back in 2001 I was in a band by the name of Crackerjack tattoo here in Spokane WA. We had a decent following and even put out a halfway decent cd titled "twisted" This was pretty much a new venture for me and I spent the next 4 1/2 years bleeding for my art. In January of 2006 I was involved in an accident where I almost broke my neck and it sidelined me for a while. In the end the band dissolved but not before preparing me for my next project: DRILL.DRILL is exactly what I originally set out to do but never accomplished with the first band. While CJT took a track in 80's ish metal influences and harsher vocals what I really wanted was a blend of Progressive metal merged with industrial influences, kinda like dream theater meats NIN, with Alice Coopers Psychotic influences. I also really like to take-no-prisoners guitar work of Zakk Wylde. I've always been a fan of horror so I spent alot of time writing what will be the first DRILL epic. this is a look in to say the least and not necessarily me, I try to put myself in others shoes and writing from their point of view. This project will definately take some work. I've been a fan of Gibson so You'll be hearing that familiar crunch also, I've owned a black and wht flying v since I bought it in 95, and just recently I purchased a Gibson Custom shop ZakkWylde les Paul (Blk and wht also) and a schekter hellraiser 7 string baritone, pod xt live etc.. Every moment goes into a recording that will be used at some point in the future. I figure of the 120 or songs that were written in the last 8 months about 25 to 30 will be on the album. Go big or go home (go broke, then go home . . .) anyway lookin forward to a big 08 and looking forward to not having to compromise or "settle" if you know what I mean.

Band Members: DRILL is one Man, one vision, one goal DRILL shreds Gibson Guitars almost exculsively now, at the "head" of the family would be my Black and White Gibson Custom shop ZW Les paul (tuned to drop C), not the Piece-o-shit Epi, the real fuckin deal, next in line is a Black and Diamondplate flying V (tuned to drop D)I’ve owned since 1995, it’s now equiped with EMG’s also. I also own an Electric acoustic (tuned to who gives a fuck lol), probably an Ovation nockoff, doesn’t really matter anyway as I prefer to plug in. I do own a Schector hellraiser 7-String that I originally planned to use, but it "just sits there" and is taking up valuable axe real-estate, I actually do plan on adding a John-5 Sig. Tele to the Mix (yes a Fender, but it really smokes trust me) and I believe the mix between tele and paul should prove unstoppable. I can do some damage on the keys as well and include in my arsenal a "vintage" ensoniq ASR-10 (ask Kanye what he thinks of this board) and My ass kicker Yamaha MO8, I started out pedal wise with a crappy Digitech rp-12, that had maybe 1 or 2 good sounds, the rest crap, then I went to a Marshall amp setup, then a Line 6/Marshall combo, now I’m going all Line-6 and use QSC Poweramps, cabs are still basically in the works, trying to find the tone I desire, a neverending search probably. I scream my fuckin head off through a shure beta 58 wireless. my writing is probably what makes me most proud and Starting this year I’m working on releasing the "poetry" versions of some of the songs I’ve penned, along with various other bits, pieces and chunks, along with the beginning of what looks like a book, and maybe a short movie lol! I have always believed that I have been blessed with a wicked imagination and have never, ever used drugs to get there, that’s just me, I don’t care what you do, although I do like the occasional shot of jager and an Ice cold beer. Motivation, inspiration and perspiration born out of a desire for world fuckin Domination. It’s my world, my music and my rules, everything and everyone else is just along for the ride!
