DJ Casper – Cas - was born into a family full of liveliness and music. His passion for music began at the early age of 5 years old; watching his older brothers’ bring home the newest music and dances. Following in his older brother’s footsteps, at age thirteen he stepped into the local DJ scene. Cas started off at the neighborhood house parties more commonly known as “Dollar Parties”. It was here his fan base started and still continues strong today. Not too shortly there after he began to display his distinct talent at the young adult club Dances. It was here where he became ‘The Youngest in Charge’ and a local celebrity. Using Dances as a starting point he expanded his reach through out Philadelphia and the tri-state area. He was featured at the largest club venues, DJ competitions, and did guest appearances on radio stations. In 2001 Cas toured with Hustle Child and the late Gerald LeVert on the ‘Live Vibe’ Tour traveling as far as Europe and South America; from that point on he was known as “The International DJ Casper”.
His list of accomplishments runs long including ‘Best Club DJ’, ‘Best Track in Philly’, and scored 6 tracks on ‘Ski Tripp Da Movie’. Furthermore he has gained notoriety in the industry by opening up for artists such as Beenie Siegel, Ice Cube, Peedi Crack, Young Jeezy, Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Mase, Cameron, Busta, Luke, Junior Mafia, Aaron Hall, Dru Hill, and Diddy. More recently he has done mix shows for Philly's own Power 99 FM, 100.3 The Beat and Delaware's 107.1 Kiss FM. Cas has made sure not to limit himself to one sector of the industry. Separate from his career as the premier DJ in Philadelphia, for the past several years his personal project has kept him in his studio as well as in all of the hottest clubs in the Tri-state. His latest developments have allowed him to pursue his passion for producing. Cas would like to introduce you to his production team Caspaws Music Group. His featured artists are Miss Mela, Kidd Fresh and Beano “Swagged Out”. Currently Cas is hard at work in the studio working on the release of each of their first albums; Kidd Fresh’s single “Prada’s on my feet” is currently in rotation in Philadelphia.
