I'm 31 and holding. I just started my general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma. I got married this summer and it has been a great change to my life. I have a wonderful lady that I get to call my wife and I look forward to starting a family someday.I love the outdoors. I'm a big hunter, fisherman, and mountain biker. Anything outdoors is generally happiness to me.I was a screw-up for the first 22 years of my life. I played baseball in college and drank too much, and avoided studying like the plague. When I graduated from college with a worthless degree, I decided it was time to grow up a little and start chasing my dream of becoming a doctor. I worked two jobs and carried a very full class load (18-26 credit hours) for 3 1/2 years after college before I was finally accepted into medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.I've been loving every minute of life since I got that acceptance letter! Even the long nights in the library are worthwhile when I consider it a ticket to chase my dreams.
