With a love for art and for humanity, the Starving Artists Project bridges the two together in an attempt to draw awareness to the needs of humanity and highlighting spectacular talents of artists. The project is a collaboration of artists that come from various disciplines and interests. With vast influences these artists are influential themselves with their artistic work. In a dual effort to exhibit these works, Hungry Artists for Hungry Cause is a contributor to humanitarian efforts across the world. With war, violence and disease claiming thousands of lives, we sometimes underlook the effects of hunger itself. The fury of hunger claims lives every day. Some, beyond imagination.
However, it is always with small acts that large impacts and change in the world are made. I challenge all artists to join the Starving Artists 4 a Hungry Cause. In 2009, we hope to have traveling exhibits & auction highlighting the talents of artists while drawing awareness to the hunger epidemic.
