Break Faith

About Me

Break Faith formed in late 1994. The original Lineup was Leo on vocals, Mayo Mick on Bass, Chris Legg on guitar, and Jon Level on drums. We wrote the first bunch of songs in leos basement and needed a name. leo as some of you may know is crazy, he insisted the band be called break faith. he would say how it sounded so perfect. we all agreed it was the worst name we ever heard however, while driving home from practice one night he pulled over on I-91 and made mick get outta the car and said he couldnt get in until he swore break faith would be the name of the band. A couple days later leo painted a jacket to say "Break Faith 1995 Crew" so there was no turning back. We recorded a demo on a cassette 4 track titles 1995 crew. We gave these away at our first show which i believe was at studio 158 opening for Shift. These were the worst sounding demos ever. Mostly because leo bought the tapes at a dollar store. Anyway long story short, Jon Level left the band and we got Frank on drums which became the real Lineup. We played a bunch of shows in CT with Hatebreed, Cornerstone, Fastbreak, Tenfold to name a few. Later we moved Mayo mick to 2nd Guitar and added Dope George on Bass. Frank left the band so we had Pat Fastbreak fill in a couple shows and then got our friend Barry to join. Leos work schedule got hectic so Chris Legg took over on vocals for a few shows. In october 1995 we called it quits and played our last show ever at CT bike exchange in bristol with 25 ta life. Chris Legg went off to join Fastbreak, Mayo mick went to do Cromtech and other kookie project, leo got married, frank played in tons of bands etc... We did one reunion show in 1996 ar maxalunas with the famous Don Raymond on bass which was awesome.
