John Dexter Jones and The Steven Twins

About Me

John Dexter Jones and The Steven Twins came into being when we were invited as part of another of our projects, the rock band JUMP, to open a number of shows for artists such as Sam Brown,The Crazy World of Arther Brown,Zoot Money and even The Blockheads. Having put together what we thought was a passable impersonation of a tight acoustic combo we enjoyed these shows without much thought to formalising the 'band'...until we were invited to play a number of theatre shows opening for Midge Ure.The response to our slots was remarkable with there being an obvious demand for the recorded version of the songs in that acoustic format. We talked about it and decided to record "Man in the Window" released in January 2008. Produced by Martin Atkinson(Dame Kiri te Kanawa etc..)the album comprises ten original pieces.Since we are now officially a band we'd better get on with arranging some gigs....so keep an eye on our extremely long name on a listing near you!

The first album is now out. Purchase your copy here...
