I'm usually up to no good in the Leeds area. Among the many things I do to stop me having to go back and work in a call centre is DJ at various establishments (Oporto, Jakes, The Faversham, Wire).
2006 was also filled up with working for then Up and Coming Beat Combo The Pigeon Detectives (Guitar Teching/Some Tour Managing/getting on it etc)
I am the lead singer of the band "The Angles". Check out our stuff on www.myspace.com/theangleshavearrived. We were recently described as "gurning new rave lunatics" by The Leeds Guide. Cheers. I used to play guitar and write songs in The Casual Terraces, hence where the casual in Johnny Casual comes from. Someone said its because I'm like Johnny Cash but with better trainers. Fair enough.
I'm usually found drinking in Oporto, Jakes, The Faversham (where I now have an office with 'The Chocolate guy'), and Milo.
Trad pub wise are my local The Palace and on match days The Packhorse.I support Leeds, and yes we aren't as good as we used to be.
I've played guitar since I was seven; interestingly enough I was taught by a nun. Such is the wonder of the Roman Catholic religion. I say I play guitar; my Rickenbacker 330 is round at somebodys house. Should get it back really.
I reside in the town centre in a apartment complex known as 'The Chandlers', that makes it sound loads better than it is (don't get me wrong its pleasant enough bar the night I was burgled and my computer walked. Cheers for that you bagheads).
My other interests include collecting vintage British film posters, as well as record collecting.Anyway cheers for taking this time to visit, and don't feed the animals.By the way, don't ask us for guestlist for (insert your favourite Leeds band here) because I am fucking sick of being hassled. By some tickets and support local musicians.
