Robert Thornhill a.k.a Bob a.k.a folkart lullaby grew up in a small town called carbonear on the wonderful island of Newfoundland in Canada , he did the usual things that all children did but he was drawn to music from an early age. It is one of the true things in his life that he loves with all his heart. At the age of 20 while battling depression,stress and burnout and after dropping out of University , he wrote his first song on guitar having taken up playing the year before , He has been writing ever since but mostly in secret not really sharing it with anyone , after an infusion of confedence and some recording gear over the last year , He started recording his own tunes and assorted covers and putting them on his blog (www.folkartlullaby.blogspot.com) and then on his myspace site plus burning off cd's for friends . He is recording and writing all the time now , looking to start playing out for people and get exposure , more then ever before .
So heres to a new year and a new beginning to a folkart lullaby .
