About Me

Aaron began singing at the age of 17. After serving a short time in the United States Marine Corps, a love of singing brought him back home where his talents were instantly recognized. Aaron then started his pursuit toward a vocal degree in Kentucky, where he studied with Metropolitan Opera Soprano Elizabeth Volkman. During his time at University, Aaron’s audition success led him to various operatic venues, including leading roles in small operas and musicals with the Utah Festival Opera and Nashville Opera companies.
In 2007 Aaron was featured on the hit British TV show X Factor having made it to the final 12 of the over 25 age group. Simon Cowell declared Aaron's a ”Great voice." Here is a short video of Aaron on the X Factor behind the scenes and the only one of his many auditions to get on television:
Since 2004 Aaron has been working a featured headliner on cruise ships, bouncing back and forth between many different cruise lines; among them: Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Silversea, Celebrity, Princess and Norwegian. On these ships he specializes in crossover music including well known opera, musical theater and adult contemporary hits.
Aaron currently makes his home in Western Pennsylvania where he continues his studies with Heldontenor Tim Mussard in Cleveland Ohio. His cd has been recorded and is available for purchase. If you are interested in a cd, please feel free to contact Aaron directly.
Thank you so much for visiting my page. I sincerely hope you enjoy the music from my heart. Aaron Bradley Shaw

Influences: The Platters and Mario Lanza were my two biggest influences. Some more favorites of mine throughout the years are Peabo Bryson, James Ingram, Tom Jones, Gary Puckett, Steve Perry, Lucinao Pavarotti, Giuseppe Di Stefano, David Coverdale, Steve Winwood, Connie Francis, and Elvis Presley. David Phelps (a Christian music specialist) and Adam Lambert (a new pop/rock singer) are my favorite singers singing today.
Sounds Like: Who Aaron sounds like really depends on the song. He is a master of legit musical theater singing and comfortable with a few other genres. His sound has been compared to quite a few different singers, but other than when he is singing pure operatic material, he really just has his own sound which has been described as a pure sound - embodying the best sounds of old fashioned musical specialists carried forth with the musical control and projection of an operatic specialist.
