Young Dayzed- Anti-Socially Conscience

When you are speaking of modern day Hip Hop music you might think about jewelry flossing, the new biggest dance song that blows up the airways, expensive cars and trucks or the street hustler's music. There's nothing wrong with dat at all, but the problem with it is that it gets too monotonous. Me growing up on rap, back when I was a fan, I learned that Hip Hop music is more than just getting behind a mic-stand and saying words that would make you wanna dance or go out sell drugs. To be honest with you, I fell in love with rap before I fell in love with Hip Hop. I loved the repetitions of rhyming and using complicating rhyme schemes that accentuates the true art of Hip Hop music. I dont know, I just liked the way it felt rolling off of my tongue lol. Then I've come to realize that the true meaning of Hip Hip is to express yourself in your own original way, whether you are infuenced by someone or you've came up with your own attitude. I been influenced from the Notorious B.I.G., Big L, Eminem, Canibus, Method Man, and Big Pun. The reason I think I learned from them the most is because each of them got crazy wordplay, make songs that imitates life, or make choruses that people could walk down the road and rap, you know, something that could stay stuck in your head for a while, without having to always sing or get somebody else to sing on the chorus. I listen to them and hear that they're verses goes back to being on the corner in a circle with ya boys cyphering, instead of just rapping for the public to make money.
Back when Hip Hop was at its early stage or whatever, didnt have so much money involved, we were cyphering, or having freestyle sessions, wit our homeboys and sh*t rapping about whatever we saw around us. Back when it was cool for us to call "hoes" a hoe and "niggas" a nigga. I think we were slaves and sh*t way back when they was whippin us and we were picking cotton and the white man would call us "NIGGER" like we ignorant. But we show love now-a-days by callin out homeboys "my Nigga". Hip Hop is about how we live so if thats how we came up, I find it bullsh*t that they're tryna band the N-Word from our own vocab. If I wanna call MYSELF a nigga, I could do dat.. ya dig.
I BEEN trying to bring Hip Hop music back to where it should be. I am more than just a rapper, I have a WILD imagination and I just let it go sometimes. I think Hip Hop music is missing originality, entertainment, and ATTITUDE. Its a huge difference between attitude and swagger. Swagger is like "I'm the sh*t and I know I'm the sh*t". Attitude is more like "I'm goin do what the F*kk I do and aint nobody gon stop me, and yall can't F*kk wit me when I do it". I think attitude is mo stronger.
I'm am all into music in general. I was in my high school band which taught me the insides and outs music which was a priceless lesson learned. In 2005 I was one of the four semi-finalist rappers on BET's Spring Bling at Daytona Beach Florida. I lost dat... I went to Freestyle Friday auditions that same year in August, The same time Katrina was hittin my area I was out there, and I remember Terrence, not Terrence J, if yall know BET yall know that crazy bright Terrence, was telling me "YOU coming back for next season" cuz I remember slaughtering this guy in that battle. I left the building dat day MEGA-CRUNK. But I dont kno what happened with my phone call..? I did a freestyle for Kay Slay.. If i dont have it on my 5 songs at the top i should have it in a playlist in my about me section. But I'm not done with this rap sh*t, Its my LIFE!!, so yall will hear from Young Dayzed.
I do features on songs whether its a Chorus or Verse.
