I am captivated by the art of music and her many incarnations. I like studying and learning all subjects except politics and economics. I am addicted to overworking myself because I like to test the limits of my abilities and talents. With what little free time I have left after school and work each day I enjoy practicing my instruments, writing and recording my own music (as well as recording music for others), attending concerts, yoga, and learning card tricks. My dreams are to one day become a skilled studio bassist. I like to eat steak and ribs or anything meat. I don't like vegetables or fruit. My favorite color is black and I drive a Silverado. I love my girlfriend, Sara, more than anything.
My current line of work is a combination between guitar/bass/piano teacher and musician for hire. I play all styles of music, including classical, jazz, rock/pop, hardcore, hip-hop, and country. For more information on my solo music go to my web site at www.jaymelewis.com or my other myspace page.

Beauty is something you experience, not something you prove. Can you tell me what beauty is? Or can you only give me your perspective on it? Can science define beauty? Can you see or touch it, or can you just see and touch something that possesses its quality? Beauty is invisible, individual, and intangible. Interesting, isn't it? It is something you know, yet technically, it is not there.
