About Me

Welcome to Brent Persia's space. Brent is a 27 year old local musician and studio owner from Pembroke, NY. He enjoys songwriting, singing, guitar, piano, percussion, sequencing, producing, instrument programming and digital signal processing.
Brent trained himself to be an intermediate classical pianist and an artist as a teenager. After entertaining other interests in college, he got back into music in 2001 when he bought a guitar and tape recorder and began writing songs. In 2002 he decided to build a studio to record his music. He had a vision of one day making big studio productions that incorporated guitars and electronic music. It was then that he began collecting the equipment that makes up his current studio.
In 2005 Brent took his songs out of the house. He played all over the Western New York area from Rochester to Buffalo. Since 2005 he has been featured on Western New York's 107.7 The Lake, 90.7 WGCC, 1490 WBTA, LCTV Adelphia Channel 13, and Adelphia Channel 20. His performing also earned him the title of Nightlife Magazine's "Best Acoustic Performer of Western New York Nominee" for two years running.
In 2009 Brent finished a full length album entitled "The Romance of the Strings." He has also written an extensive journal about the nature and psychology of music.
