Linda & Jessica Storey

About Me

LINDA & JESSICA STOREYLinda & Jessica sing with tight harmonies whether they are performing their soulful blues, rock or ballads. During the late 70's and 80's Linda led successful rock bands in the Northwest. Now together Linda and her daughter Jessica perform Linda's originals which may remind you of Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Ricky Lee Jones, Sarah McLaughlin, Fleetwood Mac or even Leonard Skynyrd. With Jessica playing acoustic guitar Linda & Jessica can perform by themselves but together with their band they will rock the house!Performing solos since third grade, well known manager, Chuck Morris managed Linda for two years when she turned 15. She then took off on the road, full-time at the age of 21 singing and playing acoustic and bass guitar .Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis while performing in the Northwest Linda continues on with her band despite MS. Linda's perseverance and drive, take her music to a new level! There is no better example then "DON'T LET IT STOP YOU" and "MAKE SOME NOISE"Linda is getting national attention from the National MS Society and healthcare reform. They performed in Denver during the DNC for a healthcare reform rally along with DeVotchKa and Death Cab for Cutie.Linda Storey has always followed her passion music. She has worked in all the genres and brings them together in her writing. Linda and Jessica along with their band they have played at the Gothic Theatre, Soiled Dove, Cervantes, Brendan's, The Denver Performing Arts Center, Swallow Hill, Jazz @ Jack's and other venues in Denver. Evergreen's Little Bear, Lyons's Oskar Blues and the South Park Music Festival. Linda and Jessica usually tour the Northwest in the summer and throughout Colorado and New Mexico. In 2008 they joined with the John O Gods from Amsterdam to record and tour through Colorado, promoting their two new songs. They flew to Chicago in November 2008 to perform for the National MS Society's Annual Conference.
