Verica Pandilovska

Verica Pandilovska was born on Friday, 13th of May, 1973 (horoscope sign – Taurus), in Tetovo , Macedonia . In the part of education, she took part into the Elementary or Lower Music School (section – violin), as well as Music High School (section – solo singing). At the Music Academy , she continued with solo singing, switching to theories of music after two years of studying. She hasn’t decided yet, whether it is her desire to pass the last three exams to graduate…He begins with gigs and live performances very early, at the age of 14, first in Tetovo, afterwards in Skopje . As a matter fact, working with a band is not a complete unknown to her, she began singing in a band before entering the solo waters.Verica’s first public appearance was on a movie, precisely at the Skopje premiere of the movie “Arizona Dream”, at Universal Hall, under the organization of Raka Maric, where she sang the traditional “Kales bre Ango”.The first solo act had at “Interfest – Bitola ”, in 1994. The theme “Vratete go bogovi” was composed by Dragan Vucic, and she was awarded for it the Best Interpretation. Already, the next year (1995), at the “Skopje Festival” she sang a song by Ljupco Cvetkovski – “Ti ne razbiras”, which was afterwards awarded as a Most Wanted on the radio stations in between two festivals. There was a break until 1999, when Verica fulfilled the song “Bez zdiv”, by Tose Pop Simonov, in whose studio where recorded the previous two songs.Then followed: “Znaes deka znam” ( Skopje Festival 2000, award for Best Text for Tose Pop Simonov) and “Nema zosto” (Makfest 2001, Best Interpretation), after what she distanced herself from the music festivals.Career continued two years later with the radio and video hit “Kuckin sin”, and the next year, 2004/05, with “Daj mi vino”. Next song “Kapka pot” (by Vlado Janevski and Darko Dimitrov) was promoted in June 2006, and “Zivotot e” (by Dejan Milicevic, who was inspired by the Spanish Melos, and Kaliopi Bukle wrote the text) in January 2007. For most of the songs, Verica shot videos, which were directed by Tose Pop Simonov, Dejan Milicevic and 3D Production.
