Welcome to Unwanted's MySpace page. No Unwanted is not a band, it’s a movement. Unwanted is a group of people who feel like the most important thing in the world is to understand how much God loves us all. They have also realized that allot of the world has a negative concept of Christianity, and understandably so. According to the book UnChristian by David Kinneman and Gabe Lyons 87 percent of young people in our nation view Christians as judgmental while 85 percent consider them to be hypocritical, these views are followed up by old-fashioned, out of touch with reality, insensitive to others, boring, not accepting of other faiths, and confusing (27). Unwanted hopes to change that by living aloud and in a real way, the love of God. We are not perfect and we don't think we have it all figured out but somebody has to do something...To understand more of what Unwanted is check out the blog entitled “Why Unwanted?" which should be up within a couple of days.
On this site you will also find the home of the band Subject To Change. This group has been about 4 years in the making and originated as the worship band for Seacoast Church in Irmo. Right now they are doing gigs around town for different churches and whoever else books them. But, who knows what the future holds. We are leaving ourselves and the music open for God to do with as He pleases. Check out the "Subject To Change" Blog for more info, it should be up in a couple of days as well.
