Biography :: Was born Shaun Anthony Tortatice in Houston, Texas on December 1st, 1986. Moved to Rochester, NY at the age of two, after the birth of younger brother, Ryan, 19, where they currently reside. From as early as grade school, Shaun was swept away by HipHop music. Completely consumed and captivated by the rhythm and the fast pace style and "in your face" rebellious image. The clever lyrical concepts engineered through rhyme delivered diffrently by every artist. It wasn't until "down the road" he had turned his music fascination and hobby into a fulltime forte. Exercising different concepts while wrestling with content, his style of catchy word schemes and a multiple syllable patterned flow, has led him to now be a opidemy of a "lyricist." Smooth and aggressive, his lyrics and delivery put listeners and fans alike in a firm grasp. With his "off the wall" lyrical content and complicated rap style, along with his persona has been combined to create the style he delivers today. With his own blend of brilliance, he had shaped his sound fresh and unique. Under the rap alias "THE GIANT," it is said to be used both figuratively and literally. Figuratively used as a "lyrical giant" and literally due to the physicality of his 6'6'' 220lb stature. Other rap alias's gone by include " SHAUN T " - " Mr. RANGE " - " THE NEW YORK GIANT. "Since his first encounter with rap and being a sincere fan, to the production of his very own persona and having fans. The rest is history.
