A MIDNIGHT CHRISTMAS MESS

In the late fall of 1984 Midnight International, an NYC based record label which catered to the growing Garage/Psych movement released a Christmas compilation LP featuring thirteen different acts on fifteen cuts. The three groups showcased on this profile were the local Manhattan contribution to this "Christmas Mess." They are The Cheepskates , performing two original compositions titled: "Christmastime With You", and "Last Minute Rush." The Tryfles, doing an incredible work-up of a track titled: "GLORIA (IN EXCELSIS DEO)." And Jordan Tarlow with Michael Chandler , both from The Outta' Place , reworking a Sonics tune with Chandler's lyrics titled: "Forget It" by NADROJ & the WOLRATS.
